Will Gunners do a "Liverpool"?

Redz SG

Congrats to them for conquering the "Old Lady" and progressing to the last 4.
But will they repeat the Reds' feat last yr by winning the Cup?!

Basing on merits alone, yes!!! It's a long overdue rewards for their silky brand of soccer!

I only hope they dun "copy" us by finishing 5th in the EPL, 1 place behind their neighbouring rivals! Mr. Green

798 SG

Arsenal will be better. Mr. Green i believe they can make it to top 4 spot.

but the ball is round. i felt dat arsenal often get knock out by spainish club.

Patrik SG

If Villareal cannot knock them out, leave it to Barcelona.

798 SG

if arsenal overcome them, they will be the great club dat beat all the top 3 spanish clubs n won ucl. Mr. Green

stellazio SG

i already see arsenal in the final..

K800i SG

I hope Arsenal wins the CL , it's good for English football. If it's Man utd or Chelsea, different story. So glad both are out.

Good Luck Arsenal ! May u beat the crap out of Man utd this weekend.

Patrik SG

Dun underestimate Villareal.
Wink

stellazio SG

we know arsenal too well to slip up..they made the kings of italy look like a mid table epl team..

henry is on fire..

final is worth more den ucl..

i predict it to be barca-arsenal..

who wins it..henry or ronaldinho will become player of the year.. Laughing

BrUtUs SG

x2
agree...

Poolman SG

Are you surprised ? Not me , the way Arsenal performed , they looked like they are on the way to Paris .

If Gunner progress all the way to the Final , they will win it ! "Home" ground advantage . Mr. Green

Paris = Arsene Wenger , Henry , Pires , and almost half the Gunners' contingent .

Poolman SG

VillaReal no match for Arsenal , head-to-head , players-to-players .

The interesting one , and tough to predict one is AC Milan vs Barcelona .

Got a gutsy feeling Rijkaard to beat his former club .

My Dream Final : Thierry Henry vs Ronadinho .

Patrik SG

Yeah..i also predict the final to be Arsenal vs Barcelona.
Its gonna be fun..

798 SG

sure bor? i think gunners got spanish players too.

stellazio SG

majority la..

Poolman SG

Well , their key set-up and their back-up team most french-related players la , most african players they have is alos French-spoken colonnial players .

Arsenal support at Paris will be like Liverpool support at Istanbul . Mind you , in Istanbul , almost 100.000 fans , english or Turkish or others , supported Liverpool that night . It's just like a Home game that night .

It's a Arsenal's Night if they make it .

Redz SG

Good observation! Laughing Paris will certainly be "home" to the Gunners!

The vibes are good....they're peaking at the rite time!

I'm looking forward to them vs Barca in Paris. While Barca will be fav, I like to see them surprised by Henry n co.....coz there's more than chelski in the EPL u noe!? Mr. Green

Tempted to bring tis further....if, n oni if the Gunners win the UCL tis time and they finish below 4th in EPL, they will still be playing UCL next yr rite?! It'll be double-"joy" for them shd Spurs finish 4th then Shocked

CoolMyth SG

As much as I admit that I think Arsenal will win the CL this season, frankly, I dun wish them to.

Cause I hope if they dun win, Henry will leave Arsenal and thus start the decline of the entire team. Then what used to be a 4 team monopoly in EPL will be left with 3! Which is good for Liverpool. Laughing

I secretly hope Juan Roman Riquelme can show the Gunners how good he is and punish them left, right and centre.

Poolman SG

since Arsenal they’re into the Semi final , watch out for them …... they would want to do a Liverpool this time .

Master -_- SG

do a Liverpool?

Is it the same as Liverpool doing a Man Utd? Rolling Eyes Laughing

Patrik SG

My exact sentiments.
